We are excited to announce that Dr. Raphael (Rafi) Yahalom will be joining asvin as a Chief Cyber-Risk Strategy Officer to contribute to asvin innovations and market leadership in transforming cyber-risk management of global software supply-chains.  Dr. Yahalom is involved with pioneering research work at MIT focusing on data-driven approaches for systematically analyzing and managing digital risk.

Dr. Yahalom has extensive experience and accomplishments in multiple areas of cyber-security and cyber risk and was the inventor of one of the early influential authentication and key distribution protocols that became known as “The Yahalom Protocol”, and was also the co-designer of the “Gong-Needham-Yahalom (GNY) Logic” for systematic analysis of cryptographic protocols.

Dr. Yahalom was the co-founder and chief scientist of Onaro which was acquired by Netapp and continues to be one of the most widely used software solutions for data storage management in organizations around the world, generating revenues of hundreds of millions dollars annually.

Dr. Yahalom obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Cambridge University.
