warns of the increasingly sophisticated methods used by cybercriminals through the use of generative AI.
According to Ross, generative AI has taken phishing attacks to a completely new level:
“In the past, fake emails could often be recognized by typos or awkward wording. Today, they are almost perfectly written and barely distinguishable from genuine messages.”
Ross emphasizes that ignorance remains the biggest vulnerability in cyber defense.
Only those who understand the methods of attackers can respond effectively and strengthen their cyber resilience.
