It-sa Press Release

It-sa 2024: Operational Technology (OT) needs software for risk management.

At the Nuremberg cybersecurity trade fair it-sa in Hall 9, Stand 309, Stuttgart-based asvin GmbH will be demonstrating how OT operators can bundle isolated databases into up-to-date cyber situation reports.

– With asvin solutions, manufacturing companies and suppliers are in a much better position to prioritise, plan, secure and economically analyse cyber security measures.
– The asvin portfolio includes software for risk analysis, OTA incident management and professional services.
– With the asvin cyber risk model and asvin prioritisation, users can significantly optimise the deployment of resources and personnel in their cyber security teams.

Stuttgart/Nuremberg, 22-24.10.24 – With increasingly urgent appeals, federal security officials are calling for concerted action against increasingly threatening cyber risks. ‘As a cyber nation, we must get ahead of the wave!’, urges BSI head Claudia Plattner to take action now. ‘With proactive risk management, the necessary steps can be planned perfectly and implemented quickly,’ says asvin CEO Mirko Ross, setting the direction. asvin will be presenting the appropriate software solutions at it-sa.

The best way to get started with redesigned cyber security is to have well-maintained databases and risk management concepts that are customised to the respective company. This is what happened at the world’s leading measurement technology company ZENNER Group, which monitors and manages the majority of its sensors and meters installed in customer solutions with the asvin solution for OTA device management ‘Device Security Booster’. ‘With such well-sorted data, further cyber security projects are the logical continuation of a cyber security strategy,’ emphasises Gerhard Steininger, VP Sales and Business Development at asvin.

Steininger will be explaining the benefits of asvin solutions for OT operators and manufacturers on two it-sa stages. On the Tuesday of the fair, 22 October in Forum F in Hall 9 from 09:30-10:00 his topic is: ‘Keeping the ship sailing. – From cybersecurity to cyberresilience.’ And on Wednesday, 23 October from 15:00 to 16:00, he will outline asvin as part of the Baden-Württemberg and in particular the Karlsruhe start-up and entrepreneurial scene, which can be seen in Hall 9, Forum E.
