In his presentation “Hackers in the Internet of Things – An invisible war for our networked world,”
Ross uses current cases to describe how attackers operate and how security managers can protect themselves against them. He also explains how insecure passwords, open ports, and outdated software in inverters of small photovoltaic systems make homeowners particularly vulnerable to cyberattacks and how such attacks can threaten the entire power grid.
