The KRITIS-Dachgesetz for the protection of critical infrastructures has been passed.
On January 29, Mirko Ross, CEO of asvin, spoke on the 8 p.m. Tagesschau about one of the greatest economic and security challenges of our time:
safeguarding critical infrastructures against cyberattacks and sabotage.
Two types of attacks constantly threaten the functionality of our society: digital assaults from cyberspace and physical interference with facilities or systems.
Ross summed it up clearly: operators must allocate resources today for prevention and emergency planning—not only after damage has already occurred.
