Cybersecurity & Big Data in Focus: asvin CEO Mirko Ross to Speak at Cybersecurity Innovation Day 2026 in Karlsruhe

On April 28, 2026, the Who’s Who of the cybersecurity community will once again gather at the TRIANGEL in Karlsruhe.

The Cybersecurity Innovation Day 2026 will revolve around the theme “Cybersecurity & Privacy meet Big Data” – exploring the key question of how security, data protection, and data intelligence can come together in an increasingly connected world.

A highlight of the event:
the panel discussion “The Good, the Bad, the Ugly – Risks and Opportunities in Using Big Data” at 1:15 p.m.

On stage:
Mirko Ross (asvin), Jean-Yves Poichotte (Sanofi), Daniel Vonderau (FZI), and Willi Mannheims (eCapital), moderated by Dr. Swantje Westpfahl (UNISS).

Together, they will shed light on both the opportunities and pitfalls of the data economy – from innovative security solutions to ethical and regulatory challenges in managing large data volumes.

In addition to the panel, participants can expect a full program of keynotes from experts in research, industry, and politics – including representatives from KIT, BASF, and Sanofi. Promising start-ups will also present their ideas in the Cybersecurity Innovation Award, accompanied by plenty of networking opportunities over coffee, snacks, and lunch – all included.
