The programme includes stands and interactive exhibits from the universities, plus a stage featuring talks on the future of work, AI and current research topics.
Hacking AI
asvin CEO and cybersecurity expert Mirko Ross will speak about the security gaps in today’s AI systems:

The line comes from HAL 9000, the onboard computer in “2001: A Space Odyssey” – an AI that refuses to follow orders. Today it tends to be the other way round: current AI systems have rules they are supposed to follow, but those rules can be circumvented. Often with surprisingly simple means.
Mirko Ross shows how it works:
jailbreaks that get language models to ignore their own safety guidelines, and prompt injection, where instructions are hidden in texts, websites or documents that an AI processes later. He also addresses why these gaps are so hard to close and what that means for using AI tools in your studies, your work and everyday life.
