Cloud software requires ongoing support from Google to resolve issues in the Bundeswehr’ cloud infrastructure.
If Google were to discontinue support for the cloud stack at the behest of the US government, the Bundeswehr would be unable to guarantee secure operations. Its own data centres would therefore pose a threat to national security.
