Read now in Ingenieur.de of the VDI-Nachrichten the interview with Mirko Ross on the background of the cyberattack on the MUSE software of the US company Collins Aerospace.

The software, used worldwide by airlines for check-in and baggage handling systems, was the target of a ransomware attack, whose perpetrators are officially unknown. The outage led to massive disruptions and flight cancellations at several European airports.

As Ross emphasizes, such scenarios can only be prevented through much more consistent cyber risk analysis and the use of powerful Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) solutions, such as those provided by asvin. In addition, he points to the importance of Business Continuity Management (BCM): “BCM is the royal road to maintaining operations even in the event of cyberattacks – and that across the entire digital supply chain.”
