Cybersecurity Meetups in your city - Graphic

“Attackers are incredibly well connected. That’s why it’s crucial for cybersecurity professionals to connect and share knowledge as well – to shorten paths and become more effective.”

Mirko Ross, CEO, asvin GmbH

Cybersecurity isn’t a solo act. It thrives on collaboration. On knowledge that’s shared freely. On trust among those responsible for keeping digital systems safe. This is exactly what sparked the idea behind the Cybersecurity Meetup Region Stuttgart – a monthly, in-person gathering that began almost two years ago as a joint initiative between asvin and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart.

The result? A vibrant, growing community of professionals, decision-makers, practitioners, and up-and-coming talent in the cybersecurity space – meeting monthly, in person, for real conversations. The response has been overwhelming. In fact, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Württemberg invited us in early 2025 to present the format as a best-practice example for other regions.

What Makes Our Cybersecurity Meetups Different

Let’s be clear – this is not a “two free talks and some snacks” kind of meetup. It’s two short impulses. Then it’s all about what happens next:

Exchange. Conversation. Connection. On equal footing.

  • Always in person – never online or hybrid
  • Open to everyone, regardless of employer, title,
    or experience level
  • Casual, respectful, and built on mutual interest

It’s People meet People. Everything else is just logistics.

From Stuttgart to Munich, Würzburg – and Beyond

In 2025, the format is picking up speed:

•A brand-new Cybersecurity Meetup Munich will kick off this June, driven by FTAPI and the Security Network Munich, with asvin as a conceptual partner.

•In Würzburg, the first event will take place at the Technology Transfer Center for Cybersecurity (TTZ-ICS).

The driving force behind Würzburg is Alexa Dippold, who’s bringing the format to life in Northern Bavaria with great energy and commitment. The number of registrations is growing every day – a clear sign that the concept resonates well beyond metropolitan tech hubs.

Our Vision: A Nationwide, People-First Security Network

The idea is simple – and powerful:
Cybersecurity professionals across Germany meeting regularly in their local communities under one shared umbrella.
Not a franchise. Not a product.
But a grassroots, community-driven format with purpose and personality.

What’s growing here isn’t just another event series.
It’s a platform for real dialogue, trust, recruiting, collaboration – and a vital contribution to a more resilient digital society.
