DDoS Cyberattack on Deutsche Bahn – Digital Infrastructure Under Fire
A massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack has disrupted the Deutsche Bahn app and booking systems.
The servers were overwhelmed by a flood of targeted requests – a classic tactic used by cybercriminals to cripple digital services and, in some cases, demand ransom payments. Despite existing protection mechanisms, the attack managed to bypass defenses.
Whether state-sponsored actors or organized cybercriminal groups are behind the attack will be determined through digital forensics.
