Cybersecurity expert Mirko Ross, CEO of asvin, talks about the current threat situation for the German economy in the daily news programme Update Wirtschaft Magazin.

In Germany alone, cyber-attacks cause around €150 billion in damage each year. SMEs in particular are under-resourced in terms of cyber defence personnel. Worldwide, there is a shortage of about four million skilled workers. SMEs are in competition with large companies.

The most dangerous trend in cyberspace right now is AI-based deepfakes! Attackers simulate calls from the boss asking for money transactions.
