asvin and Zenner anchor cybersecurity in accordance with NIS2 in companies.
With growing threats: no secure operation without cybersecurity.
At the IT.CON trade fair on September 18, 2025, in Saarbrücken, asvin and Zenner registered a significant increase in interest in cybersecurity solutions among local and Asian companies.
The presentations focused on Zenner Cybersecurity powered by asvin, consisting of consulting services on the NIS2 directive, the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and solutions for AI-supported cyber threat intelligence (CTI) reports.
Drones over critical infrastructure, ransomware in airport IT, rising costs of cyberattacks to over €200 billion per year
– there are currently many signs that cybersecurity is increasingly becoming a critical business factor.
So IT decision-makers, specialists, start-ups, administrations, and companies took the opportunity at IT.CON to find out more about AI technologies and cybersecurity solutions from asvin and Zenner.
In keeping with the trade fair, Zenner announced in mid-September 2025 that it had exceeded the ten million mark for networked IoT devices from its own production.
This means that Zenner currently operates the world’s largest Internet of Things.
Although there are a total of around 27 billion IoT devices active globally, no other provider manages a larger number. What makes Zenner special is that the management and operating software for IoT networks is not only effective, but also more cyber-secure thanks to the expertise and support provided by asvin. Overall, the cyber security cooperation between asvin and Zenner ensures that operators of critical infrastructure in the energy industry can meet current and new requirements for cyber security and regulatory compliance.
This was of particular interest to a South Korean business delegation at IT.CON.
Non-European companies with export ambitions must comply with EU regulations such as the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). These require that products and technical components for the EU market be considered in terms of cybersecurity throughout their entire life cycle. “Shortly after the trade fair,” summarizes asvin CEO Mirko Ross, “we were able to arrange several follow-up appointments with interested parties. This shows that Zenner Cybersecurity powered by asvin is in demand.”
Background information on the functionality and benefits of asvin CTI reports is available here. Both companies will also be showcasing Zenner Cybersecurity powered by asvin at it-sa in Nuremberg from October 7 to 9, 2025, and at Smart City Expo in Barcelona from November 4 to 6, 2025.
