SWR spoke with Mirko Ross about the cyberattack on the Forscherfabrik Schorndorf’s online ticket sales

At the beginning of January, cybercriminals gained access to personal data through the online ticketing system of the Forscherfabrik Schorndorf children’s project.

SWR interviewed cybersecurity expert Mirko Ross about this incident.
In his assessment of the situation in Schorndorf, Rems-Murr district, he assumes that the Forscherfabrik is likely just one of many affected websites and that the perpetrators probably conducted automated scans for WordPress vulnerabilities.
