Today we are proud to announce that asvin has been awarded the “Cybersecurity” Made in Europe label by the European Cyber Security Organisation ECSO. The title promotes European cybersecurity companies and their visibility on the European and global markets.

Strategically, the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label is important as it promotes European companies in cybersecurity and supports them as outstanding beacons in the digital value chain.

Our company provides Security in Software Supply Chains for end devices in the IoT and meets the criteria set by ECSO to be awarded the label. These include:

  1. we are headquartered in Europe, specifically in Stuttgart, Germany.
  2. there are no significant owners/control from outside Europe
  3. Europe is our primary business location, as more than half of our cybersecurity R&D activities are based there
  4. we provide trusted cybersecurity solutions. ENISA defines these as: “Essential essential security requirements for secure information and communication products and services.”
  5. our company respects the European data protection requirements defined in the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Mirko Ross, CEO of asvin: “With this label, we once again prove our competence in the area of necessary security measures for software and firmware and their updates in the Internet of Things and at the same time strengthen the entire industry as an innovator from Europe. The award shows that we respect the values of the EU Data Protection Regulation and focus on solutions that comply with European guidelines. We are proud to receive the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label and will continue to stand up for a secure Europe.”

About the Cybersecurity Made in Europe label.

The European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO) has developed the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label seal, establishing a marketing tool for the European market. The label’s goal is to raise awareness of the value of cybersecurity companies that originate in Europe and develop their business based on trusted European values.

The European Cyber Security Organization (ECSO) is a non-profit organization founded in 2016. ECSO brings together more than 260 European cybersecurity stakeholders, including large enterprises, SMEs, startups, research centers, universities, end users, operators, associations, and regional and national administrations.

ECSO works with its members and partners to develop a competitive European cybersecurity ecosystem that provides trusted cybersecurity solutions and advances Europe’s cybersecurity and technological independence. The lack of industry-focused marketing tools to promote European cybersecurity companies inspired ECSO to develop the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label.
