Cybersecurity in the energy sector – strategies for a secure future

E-World 2025 impressively demonstrated that cyber security is not an option, but a necessity – especially for the energy sector, which is increasingly being targeted by cyber attacks. This trade fair provided asvin with a great platform to present our expertise in cyber security together with our cooperation partners ZENNER, LPDG and GPJoule.

We gained valuable insights, presented innovative solutions and held exciting discussions. Time for a summary!

  1. cybersecurity as a central theme of E-World 2025

Advancing digitalisation is increasing the threat situation for energy companies. The trade fair clearly showed that security strategies must go beyond reactive measures. Our solutions – from the secure management of IoT devices to the fulfilment of regulatory requirements such as NIS2, RED and CRA – met with great interest.

  1. our key solutions for the energy sector

With ZENNER Cybersecurity – powered by asvin – we have specifically addressed the challenges of the industry:

Device Security Booster for the secure operation and management of IoT devices in critical infrastructures.

Risk by Context for identifying and assessing critical vulnerabilities in smart energy grids.

Consulting & compliance to support the implementation of the EU NIS2 Directive and the Cyber Resilience Act.

  1. exchange of experts and findings

The discussions on cyber resilience and protection against targeted attacks were particularly valuable. Decision-makers in the energy sector are faced with increasing threats – from sabotage to data leaks. Our discussions showed that the need for holistic cyber security strategies is being recognised more than ever.

  1. co-operation within the Minol-ZENNER Group

A particular highlight for us was our first joint appearance as part of the Minol-ZENNER Group, where we were able to present specific applications for a secure and sustainable energy infrastructure with ZENNER, GP Joule and LPDG under the motto “Smart cities, strong solutions”. This collaboration enabled us to utilise synergies within the Group in a targeted manner and tailor our cybersecurity solutions even more closely to our customers’ requirements. Together with our colleagues from ZENNER, GP Joule and LPDG, we were able to present innovative concepts under the motto “Smart cities, strong solutions”. The more intensive dialogue within the group was also particularly valuable, allowing us to further deepen and strengthen our collaboration in a wide range of areas.

    5.   Our conclusion on E-World 2025

The trade fair was a complete success! The energy sector has recognised cyber security as an essential part of its digital strategy. We look forward to developing secure and resilient solutions together with our customers.
