The Mittelbayrische reports on the research project FOKUS – Stronger Together Against Cybercrime

Cyberattacks are becoming faster, more sophisticated, and affect companies of all sizes. Many businesses, especially smaller ones, face the challenge of properly assessing threats and responding quickly.

In the FOKUS research project of OTH Regensburg, in collaboration with asvin GmbH and ibi research at the University of Regensburg, a platform is being developed to help better understand and effectively counter cyber threats.

The solution aims to support organizations in the areas of prevention, detection, response, and follow-up of cyberattacks – enabling early risk identification, automated defense against attacks, and easier identification of perpetrators.

Supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, the project strengthens companies in Bavaria in detecting cyberattacks more quickly and responding more effectively.
