Regional Conference on Digitalisation “Architecture & Data”: Mirko Ross on Data Ownership

19 November 2026 | Keynote talk (online) | 14:15–14:45

Who owns the data generated during planning and construction? asvin CEO Mirko Ross will address this question on 19 November 2026 at the Regional Conference on Digitalisation “Architecture & Data”. The conference is organised by the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Federal Chamber of German Architects.

His talk, “Who owns my data?“, will take place online. Digital data increasingly shapes how projects are planned, how teams work together and how buildings are built.

The conference addresses the following questions:

  • Who owns this data?
  • What opportunities do open source and artificial intelligence offer?
  • How can planners actively shape the digital transformation?

The programme ranges from data sovereignty, open source and artificial intelligence to architectural informatics. It also covers end-to-end data processes, from detailed design through to fabrication.

Alongside Mirko Ross, the speakers are Prof. Dr. Jakob Beetz, Jutta Kreissl, Dr. Christoph Langenhan and Daniel Simons. They bring perspectives from research and practice on the digital future of planning and building.
